As a fundamental part of our mission, AAOP is committed to outreach in the Armenian Community. The goal of such outreach would be to facilitate the integration of families and their children, siblings and loved ones with Autism into the daily life of the Armenian Community in which they live.
Members of the AAOP Board and Outreach Committee will connect with schools, churches and community organizations to train those in the front lines to improve the interaction between them and individuals, as well as families of those with Autism.v
Some of our outreach will be conducted by recorded TV shows, podcasts, live interviews, our website, newsletters, social media postings, presentations and dialogue with the community. We will also offer training specifically geared toward their school, church or organization.
